Letter by letter: composing life.

It’s Monday morning . . . and the allure of “the job” is at its weekly low. In honor of the dim view—I’ve been happily playing The National’s Boxer all morning. And I’ve decided to claim “Squalor Victoria” as my anthem:

“Underline everything. I’m a professional in my beloved white shirt.
Underline everything. I’m a professional in my beloved white shirt.

I’m going down among the saints.

Raise our heavenly glasses to the heavens! Squalor Victoria! Squalor Victoria!
Raise our heavenly glasses to the heavens! Squalor Victoria! Squalor Victoria!”

But lest I sound too dour—don’t worry. By tomorrow mid-morning, I’ll just begrudgingly hate being here. . . . and by Thursday, I’ll have the weekend to look forward to.

Cheers
