but it’s a start. This new blog, attempted out of unequal parts frustration, curiosity, and procrastination, will hopefully be a space to (more) regularly blog non sequitur ideas, in/ex-citing links, and thought experiments that I’m currently working through.
Additionally, as I near the end of another degree, with PhD work still a distant speck on the horizon, perhaps this blog will serve as something of an academic discipline–a chance to air my own very astounding opinions, on astounding subjects, at astounding lengths. In short, it will be astounding.
Hey, I just checked out your site, pretty cool stuff. I was wondering if you’d wanna get together and play Ultimate Frisbee, or maybe discuss the ontological implications of George MacDonald’s conception of the feminine, or maybe you can watch me stand on street corners with my shirt off. But you’d have to do that last one from across the street, ‘cuz otherwise the high school girls might think I’m taken.
